Historia is an official journal of the History Department, Faculty of Humanities, University of Jember, Indonesia. The journal publishes original research articles and review papers in the fields of history, historiography, cultural studies and other humanities-related disciplines. Historia aims to promote scholarly communication and academic exchange among researchers, lecturers, students and practitioners from Indonesia and around the world. The journal is committed to advancing interdisciplinary perspectives and critical studies in the humanities dan environment, particularly in relation to Indonesian and global historical issues. Historia is published twice a year in January and June
