Historia: Journal of Historical Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of History, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Jember. The journal provides a scholarly forum for original research, theoretical discussions, historiographical debates, and interdisciplinary studies related to history and historical sciences. Historia welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, students, and practitioners worldwide.

Historia prioritizes original scholarly works that contribute significantly to historical knowledge, historiographical debates, and methodological advancement. Manuscripts may employ historical approaches or interdisciplinary perspectives, provided that historical analysis remains central to the study.
Studies that lack historical dimensions, historical sources, or historical analysis are outside the scope of this journal.
Review Process
Firstly, the articles submitted to this journal will be evaluated through Initial Review Processes by Editorial Team. The article can be declined if it does not meet into the journal scope. Next, the article will be checked for any indications of plagiarisms (Turnitin). Then, the articles will be sent to three Reviewers or Peer-Reviewer. For potential articles for further reviewing process The author can revise the manuscript as reviewer suggested for next step. Peer-Reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to Reviewers comments. Peer-Reviewer that collaboration with Hitoria Journal are the experts in the field of computational and/or experimental physics in sciences and engineering.
Publication Frequency
Historia Journal published since November 2018 with a frequency of publication twice a year (May and November)

Permission Authors still has the right to duplicate, download and distribute of the published material as long as the author and source are cited. Any violation found in future of any copyright come in notice, then the author will be responsible for getting sanction in accordance with prevailing regulations.
Screening for Plagiarism
The authors must ensure that the written works are fully original and if the author uses the work and/or sentence of another person then must use the citation or quoted correctly. Papers submitted to the Historia Journal will be screened and checked for plagiarism by using plagiarism detection tools, but an author should checked it to before submmited. Recommended plagiarism tools are Plagiarisma and Turnitin.
